Bakersfield, United States - September 19, 2026 09/19/2026 12:15 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Two people were injured after a single vehicle crashed into a field near Brim Hall Road and Renfro Road early this morning. The traffic collision occurred around 12:15 a.m. Both occupants were pinned inside the vehicle and were extricated by the Bakersfield Fire Department. One patient suffered moderate injuries, while the other suffered major injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital. It remains unclear how the vehicle ended up in the field and if speed or alcohol were factors in the traffic collision. The Bakersfield Police Department is handling the investigation.
