US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Two-Vehicle Crash Sends Two to Hospital on East Truxtun Avenue.

Bakersfield, United States - September 06, 2026 09/06/2026 12:20 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A two-vehicle collision sent two people to the hospital early this morning at Baker Street and East Truxtun Avenue. The crash occurred around 12:20 a.m. Two people inside a white sedan were transported to a local hospital with injuries of unknown severity. The occupants of a red sedan involved in the collision sustained no injuries. A DUI test was administered to the woman driving the white sedan while she was inside an ambulance. It remains unclear whether she was under the influence. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The Bakersfield Police Department is handling the investigation.
