US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield 1 with Major Injuries After Being Shot and Hit by Car at Panorama Park.

Bakersfield, United States - June 06, 2026 06/06/2026 02:52 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – An investigation is underway after a woman sustained major injuries after she was reportedly shot in the face and then run over by a car early this morning at Panorama Park between River Boulevard and Linden Avenue. At approximately 3:01 a.m., the Bakersfield Police Department officers arrived on the scene to find a crowd gathered and the woman lying in the roadway. Officers quickly expedited medical assistance for the victim, who had major injuries. Within moments, she was transported to a hospital for treatment. Investigators found multiple shell casings on the ground in the dirt at Panorama Park. In addition, several witnesses were speaking with police regarding the incident. The Bakersfield Police Department and the Bakersfield Fire Department assisted on scene.
