US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield At Least 1 Stabbed and Multiple Detained At Target on Ming Ave With Sound On Tape Part 1.

Bakersfield, United States - September 12, 2026 09/11/2026 08:22 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – At least one person suffered moderate to major injuries in a stabbing in the parking lot of Target on Ming Avenue this evening, prompting a large police and medical response. The incident was reported around 8:22 p.m. Two people were transported to a hospital from the scene, including one person believed to be a suspect. Three additional individuals were detained at the scene after being questioned. The circumstances leading up to the stabbing remain unclear. A large portion of the Target parking lot was taped off, allowing people to leave the area but restricting entry. A large amount of blood and several items were visible between two parking stalls. Multiple Bakersfield Fire Department engines responded. The Bakersfield Police Department is handling the investigation.
