US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Vehicle Fire Exposes Home.

Bakersfield, United States - September 02, 2026 09/01/2026 07:15 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Bakersfield firefighters responded to a vehicle fire that threatened a nearby home Tuesday evening. Just after 7 p.m., the Bakersfield Fire Department responded to the 4000 block of Ivywood Court for reports of a vehicle on fire. When crews arrived, heavy flames were coming from a pickup truck parked in the driveway of a home, exposing the residence to the fire. Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames and protect the home. Additional information, including the cause of the fire and whether anyone was injured, was not immediately available.
