US, Los Angeles: Ontario Possible DUI High Speed Crash.

Los Angeles, United States - October 02, 2026 10/01/2026 11:49 pm GMT-0700 ONTARIO, Calif. – Ontario police and fire departments responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of South Mountain Avenue and West Phillips Street in Ontario. Firefighters and paramedics used the Jaws of Life to free the driver from a vehicle with major damage. The driver was transported to a local hospital. Their condition is currently unknown. A second vehicle, located just north of the first, was also involved in the collision. According to witnesses who did not wish to be recorded, the driver of this vehicle was taken into custody and placed in a police car. However, this information has not been confirmed by Ontario police. Police have closed both northbound and southbound lanes of Mountain Avenue as they investigate the crash.
