Los Angeles, United States - July 07, 2026 07/06/2026 09:30 PM GMT-0700 ENCINO, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Police attempted to stop an impaired driver in a white Chevrolet Cruze traveling at high speeds from Reseda. Officials from the Los Angeles Police Department's West Valley Area Office terminated the pursuit due to public safety concerns and reckless driving. The suspect later crashed into a parked vehicle near a vendor selling beverages at the intersection of Burbank Boulevard and Woodley Avenue. The vendor, who was standing outside her vehicle at the time, reported that the crash narrowly missed her. Following the collision, the driver fled on foot into nearby trails but was apprehended with the assistance of an air unit. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
