US, Los Angeles: Willowbrook Driver Killed After Car Gets Wedged Under Semi.

Los Angeles, United States - September 22, 2026 09/22/2026 12:36 am GMT-0700 Willowbrook – A traffic collision involving a white sedan and a semi truck with a trailer occurred at the intersection of East El Segundo Boulevard and South San Pedro Street this morning. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) log, the white sedan reportedly ran a red light before the collision, which resulted in the semi truck on top of the Hyundai. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene shortly after the incident was reported. Efforts were underway to extricate one individual from the vehicle. Tragically, one person was pronounced dead at the scene by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
