Los Angeles, United States - July 18, 2026 07/18/2026 02:24 am GMT-0700 CAMARILLO, Calif. – Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office and personnel from the Ventura County Fire Department responded to reports of an auto-pedestrian incident at the intersection of Fieldgate Drive and Las Posas Road. Upon arrival, deputies found the victim unresponsive on the ground and initiated CPR. The victim appeared to have been riding an e-bike. The Ventura County Fire Department pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. A vehicle was stopped at the location, and its driver and occupants cooperated with deputies before leaving.
