US, Los Angeles: Van Nuys Tesla Theft Suspect Arrested Following Owners Chase.

Los Angeles, United States - August 14, 2026 08/13/2026 11:30 pm GMT-0700 VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A Tesla was stolen from the Woodland Hills area by a tow truck. The vehicle's owner tracked the car and began following it while calling 911 to guide police. An air unit located the suspect driving the tow truck after the owner flashed his high beams to indicate he was behind the suspect, who was hauling the stolen vehicle on the southbound 101 freeway. The suspect was ultimately pulled over and arrested at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Burbank Boulevard, with the owner nearby assisting law enforcement.
