US, Los Angeles: Huntington Park Stolen Truck Pursuit Ends in Arrest After 2 Hours.

Los Angeles, United States - September 04, 2026 09/04/2026 01:16 am GMT-0700 HUNTINGTON PARK, Calif. – California Highway Patrol from the East Los Angeles station assisted the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in pursuing a stolen pickup truck. The CHP took over the chase once the suspect entered the freeway, with an LASD helicopter providing aerial support to track the suspect's movements. The pursuit lasted approximately two hours, as law enforcement followed the suspect through multiple cities and along various freeways in the South Los Angeles area. At one point, officers deployed a spike strip, which deflated the tires of the truck in the Huntington Park area. The suspect eventually came to a slow stop at a gas station at the intersection of Nadeau Street and Alameda Street. A male suspect was taken into custody by the CHP.
