US, Los Angeles: Pacoima Police Pursue Suspected DUI Driver in Crash.

Los Angeles, United States - July 10, 2026 07/10/2026 01:00 am GMT-0700 PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Police pursued a Nissan SUV near San Fernando early this morning, suspecting the driver of operating the vehicle under the influence. When the Los Angeles Police Department attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver fled the scene. The driver subsequently lost control and crashed at the intersection of Paxton Street and Borden Avenue, pinning the SUV between a cinderblock wall and a light pole. Police approached the vehicle and took the suspect into custody. The Los Angeles Fire Department was called to the scene to assess for injuries, and the suspect was transported to the hospital in undisclosed condition.
