The takeovers blocked intersections and involved the setting off of fireworks. Some individuals in the crowd were struck and fell over each other while trying to avoid the vehicles. One woman was thrown from a car doing donuts and was seen limping away from the scene. Law enforcement from various agencies responded to disperse the crowds, resulting in heavy traffic jams as vehicles attempted to flee the area. Many drivers collided with one another amid the chaos.
