The incident occurred at approximately 10:48 p.m. in the 1800 block of Linn Way in Lancaster. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, three male Hispanic suspects entered the residence and were confronted by the homeowner. A physical altercation occurred, and the homeowner fought the suspects off. A deputy arriving at the scene reportedly spotted the suspects and immediately requested additional units to respond Code 3. Deputies conducted a sweep of the residence and searched the surrounding desert area, but the suspects were not located. The homeowner suffered facial injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The suspects were described as three male Hispanics.
