US, Los Angeles: Arleta Major Collision Causes Critical Injury.

Los Angeles, United States - September 13, 2026 09/13/2026 11:20 am GMT-0700 ARLETA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A major traffic collision occurred this evening on the 14000 block of Nordhoff Street, involving two vehicles that sustained heavy damage. Several parked cars were also struck in the incident. A man, approximately 70 years old, was trapped inside one of the vehicles and classified as being in immediate need of medical attention. When the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived, he was unconscious and not breathing. Paramedics extricated him and transported him to the hospital in critical condition. Two young adults, aged 18 and 19, were involved in the traffic collision but managed to exit their vehicle without assistance. They sustained minor injuries. The cause of the crash is currently uncertain.
