US: Police Tear Apart Car Front To Free 3-Foot Ball Python Trapped Inside.

Franklin Township, United States - September 14, 2026 A Franklin Township couple got a shock on September 14 when they discovered a 3-foot ball python lodged inside their vehicle’s grille on Oakland Avenue. Police were called to the scene and had to dismantle a large part of the car’s front to reach and free the snake. Officer Lisseth Villacis said animal control only handles domesticated animals, leaving police as the last resort. Officers eventually managed to remove the python after about 20 minutes. The snake was taken to an animal shelter unharmed and was expected to be available for adoption. Aiyana Hudson said she was relieved the snake had not entered the passenger compartment while she was driving. How the python got into the vehicle remains unknown.
