US, Phoenix: Phoenix One Dead In Bell Road Collision.

Phoenix, United States - May 17, 2026 05/17/2026 02:00 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and Phoenix fire crews responded to reports of a collision near the intersection of Bell Road and 12th Street. Upon arrival, crews found a two-vehicle collision involving an SUV and a Nissan sedan. A single occupant was found trapped inside the Nissan sedan. That occupant was later pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the involved SUV was transported to a local trauma center with critical injuries. A hard closure was established for Bell Road while the Phoenix Police Department Vehicular Crimes Unit detectives investigated the collision.
