US, Los Angeles: Santa Clarita Takeover Shutdown by CHP and LASD.

Los Angeles, United States - May 16, 2026 05/15/2026 08:46 PM GMT-0700 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Several people were detained Friday night following a street takeover in Northwest Santa Clarita. The incident occurred on Avenue Rockefeller, just west of Avenue Scott. Sheriff's deputies and officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a large street takeover in the industrial area. The agencies coordinated with each other to successfully disperse the crowd engaging in the takeover. Additionally, several vehicles involved in the incident were stopped, leading to multiple detainments. It is unknown if any arrests were made.
