US, Los Angeles: Burbank Police Arrest One After Shooting Threats With Sound On Tape.

Los Angeles, United States - July 18, 2026 07/18/2026 12:10 am GMT-0700 BURBANK, Calif. – Just after midnight, Burbank police responded to reports of an altercation between two men in the Palm Promenade across from AMC Burbank 16 in downtown Burbank. According to witnesses, the confrontation escalated when one of the men smashed a chair against a large planter and threatened to shoot the other individual. Officers arrived with their weapons drawn and arrested the man identified by witnesses as making the threats and damaging property. Witnesses said the other man, described as a young Hispanic male, fled the scene as officers arrived. The circumstances that led to the altercation remain under investigation.
