US, Los Angeles: Pomona Car vs Tree Fatal Crash.

Los Angeles, United States - June 07, 2026 06/07/2026 07:01 am GMT-0700 POMONA, Calif. – Pomona police and Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a traffic collision at Santa Clara Drive and Calle Del Rodeo. Upon arriving at the scene, they found a two-vehicle traffic collision, with one vehicle having crashed into a tree. Firefighters and paramedics performed CPR on one of the patients but pronounced the individual dead at the scene. A second person was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The second vehicle, an SUV parked down the street from the site of the crash, was also evaluated by firefighters but did not require transport. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not yet determined how the collision occurred or whether speed or alcohol was factors. Additionally, there was a soccer game in progress at a nearby park during the time of the incident. Pomona police closed both the eastbound and westbound lanes to facilitate their investigation of the fatal crash.
