The victim was pronounced dead upon arrival by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel. Authorities have closed the street for an investigation into the incident. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, it is currently unclear what caused the traffic collision. A white pickup truck was observed at the scene, but it has not been determined if that vehicle was involved in the incident.
