Bakersfield, United States - August 15, 2026 08/15/2026 12:00 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A three-vehicle crash blocked all lanes of traffic early this morning at the 3400 block of Edison Highway. The collision involved a black pickup truck, a white pickup truck, and a tan sedan, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported shortly after midnight, and the white pickup truck rolled onto its roof during the incident. Debris from the collision was scattered across approximately 100 feet of roadway as emergency crews worked at the scene. Three tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles. No injuries were reported. The driver of the tan sedan underwent a field sobriety test and failed, leading to their arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence. The California Highway Patrol cleared the scene shortly before 1 a.m.
