D4vd Case: Gruesome Evidence Revealed in Celeste Rivas Murder
Jul 23, 2026
D4vd’s preliminary hearing has revealed new details in the murder case against the singer, as prosecutors presented evidence they say connects him to the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
Celeste's remains were discovered in the front trunk of D4vd's Tesla last year, after the vehicle had been reported abandoned and towed.
D4vd showed little visible emotion as prosecutors displayed images showing her dismembered remains contained inside two separate black plastic bags.
According to the prosecutors, the plastic fragments recovered from the remains matched an inflatable pool that D4vd allegedly used while disposing of her body.
D4vd has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors allege he killed Celeste on April 23, 2025, to conceal his sexual abuse of the 14-year-old.
The hearing marks the opening phase of a multi-day proceeding to determine whether prosecutors have presented enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial.
