So in this video, I'm going to show you how you can create your own intro video for a website or an online course

Let's get started. The website that we are going to use is called Synthesis

You can find it at Synthesia.io. This is an awesome website that is going to allow you to create your own intro video without ever having to film

actors or record a voiceover. And you can try Synthesia for free

It is a paid website, and you can see some of the plans that are available right over here

The first step is to sign into Synthesia. But before we create our video, we're going to want to write a script

So here is about a 30 second script that I wrote for my website, which is called Scott's Surf Shop

So now we are ready to create our video. The first thing that we're going to do is to select our video avatar or our actor

Now, I'm going to pick this character. His name is Jack. He looks like someone that would hang out at a surf shop

So I'm going to move him over here. And now the next step for me to do is to add the script

The text, now the next step for me is to add text from my script

So I'm going to open my script and I'm going to copy this first line

And I'm going to paste it at the bottom. Next I want to select a voice for Jack If I choose this option on the screen on the side I have a number of different voices Let me try this one energetic

So my script is ready, my voice is ready. Now what I want to do is to add a background

To do this, I can go over to background and I can either add colors, images, videos, or I can even upload my own content. But I think I'm going to add a video

background. The first line talks a little bit about a beach, so I'm just going to do a search for a

beach. And I'll take this video right over here that now becomes my background. Now I'm ready to do

the next part of my script, but I want to use a different background. So I'm just going to duplicate

the scene. It now becomes scene two. I'm now going to copy the second part of my screen. I'm now going to copy the

second part of my script, and I'm going to paste it in the dialogue area. I can preview this to

listen to how it sounds, but if I think it's good, I'm now ready to add a background. So this background

talks about a surf shop, so I'm just going to do a search for surf. I'm going to pick this option

right over here. That video now becomes my background, but I'm not finished yet because what I would

like to do is to add the Scott Surf Shop logo right over here to the right side of my slide So I going to go down to images I going to choose uploads And I going to choose this option that says Scott Surf Shop

is add background music. If I select music, it gives me a number of different choices here

Let me play a few songs. Okay I going to use this one Now I got music I got dialogue I got my video avatar I got my background I got my logo The last step for me to do is to play and preview this video

Okay, now obviously you can see that the mouth doesn't move in the preview

but once I go through and generate, you'll see the final product. So I'm going to go up to the top where it says generate video

It gives me some. options. I always end up turning this one off that says includes captions because for this video

I don't want to add those captions, but I think I'm just about finished, so I'm going to select

save and process video. And in about eight minutes or so, Synthesia will let me know once that

video is done processing. Okay, so now my video is ready. You'll notice that Synthesia will generate
