I'm going to show you how you can use this Chrome extension from Glass to summarize any

YouTube video without having to actually watch it. Let's see how it works

So here's the website that we're going to go to. It's made by Glass by Glass.co

and this is called YouTube Summary. Now you can install it on Chrome or

Safari so either browser will work. First thing you want to do is pick the browser that you want to install this on

So once the extension is installed if you go to YouTube and you hover your mouse over the corner of any video

you'll see the ChatGPT logo there briefly. That just tells you that the extension is reading the videos

So let me go ahead and take this 15 minute video and

what you'll notice is that once the extension is installed if you go right over here to the right hand side of your screen it

says transcript and summary. Here is the transcript right over here. There's a few things you can do

You can copy the transcript in plain text if you want. There's a way that you can jump to a current time on

in this video or what I like to do is this option right over here. You can view an AI summary

So I'm going to select that and you'll notice that instantly that is going to go directly into my ChatGPT account

You can see summarize the following transcript into five bullet points. If I scroll to the bottom

15 minutes. This is just going to give me a really brief description of the contents of this video

So one of the things you can do is you can kind of customize this extension just a little bit by clicking settings on the video

There's a few options right over here. Now it shows over here how you can choose your AI model

So if you don't want to use ChatGPT for whatever reason, maybe it's blocked at your school or your work

you can switch down and use Claude, which is just another chatbot model

There's also the options to change the language and you can change the prompt. So by default, it's this one summarize the following
