Alright so right on top we're gonna have the instruction booklet

and the dehumidifier itself. So the 9Sky dehumidifier feels pretty compact and as

far as specs goes this is going to be about 13 and 3 quarters inch tall by 8 inches wide

by five and a half inches deep. It's going to be a pretty cool looking one. We'll start with the

the backside here we're gonna have a handle that makes it easier just to pick this up and hold it

up from it at the bottom there's gonna be the water tank which holds a thousand milliliters of water

and i can just pull this out oh and actually it did have a bit of force to pull out

yeah so i can't remove this with one hand which is good to know that this accidentally can't

come off so i do have to put some force behind it and then there it is so here's the tank itself

and I can just lift that up, dump the water and it's good to go. Now when the water tank is full

there is going to be a red light and beeping going on which you'll see around here but now let's

connect this so I could show you a little bit around the buttons and the front beep letting me

know it's working. So this is fairly simple there's only going to be three buttons set up and it's

going to be in the front so it easy to use and you always be able to check it out So up top we have the power button And these are capacitive touch buttons by the way I pressed it on there going to be a light and it turns on and you can probably hear the dehumidifier working

so it's like sucking in the air. Now at the bottom here this is going to be the LED light

so right now LED light is automatically going to be on. You can probably get a better view

from the side view over here or maybe if I raise it up yeah if I raise it up a little bit

You'll see a light down here. It's currently like a bluish color actually from the back

Yeah, maybe you could see a little bit better in the backside So this is blue dark blue and it's gonna cycle through colors

That's gonna keep doing that until you press the button again, and then you can set that color

So right now this is purple. So let me press the LED button. I Pressed it. So now it locked that color into place. So this is gonna be purple

It's gonna stay purple and there you can see after a few seconds. It's still the same color so this is working and if i want to turn off the leds completely well i can just press that led

button again and as you saw that little white indicator light turned off completely letting us

know that there's no led lights currently on at the moment and finally the last one is going to

be night mode so i turn on night mode and after a few seconds all the lights are going to disappear

but the dehumidifier is still going to work and the power it off or to turn it off we can just

press night mode again and then the indicator lights will turn back on and I can power it off and when I do power it off it does take a few seconds to actually turn off So right there it took probably about four or five seconds until it completely stopped

But one thing I do want to test out with this is going to be the noise level. So this room is very quiet

It's very quiet when I turn this on. It's not even a pickup noise. Yeah, so it was reading low

And now I'm going to put it to the front. And then I'm gonna go about 12 inches and show you what the reading is gonna be like

And I'll also test out the side where the actual fan is coming from where the noise is coming from

So it went from about 51 decibels being close up to a little over 51

So now let me turn that off. Now let me actually test how well this works by leaving it in the

basement for a few hours and then coming back and showing you how much water it collected

But of course the more humid the place is the better it gonna work so I be right back So I put the 9Sky dehumidifier in my basement and here it is Now you might be able to see it but there is some light on the sides here

And when I turn off the light, that's where we get much better view. This is very bright. If this

was completely dark, you'd be able to see this even brighter, but this looks really pretty from

over here. And right now I just left it to cycle through the lights. So we'll be able to see the

colors now take a look at the back side and if we look at the tank itself that's where it's going to

be really bright from the back it looks very cool so yeah i'll give this a few hours come back and

then see how much water this one collected but yeah again here's what it looks like and i will

be back so after 18 hours in the basement here's the results we got for the nine sky dehumidifier

there it is about an inch or so of water collected which is very small compared to the

1,000 milliliter capacity that this tank has. Now this basement isn't too humid so that's probably

why and also one thing I noticed too is once I took this off and this shook a little bit, a little

bit of water did end up spilling over here at the bottom so maybe there still might be yeah there's

still like a little bit of water in here but that's fine and then when it's time to drain it

out again pretty easy this just lifts up and I can drain that but for now I'll just let it keep
