Los Angeles, United States - June 10, 2026 06/10/2026 01:00 am GMT-0700 WEST ADAMS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A black Mercedes sedan led the California Highway Patrol on a lengthy pursuit after officers attempted to stop the vehicle for excessive speed on the westbound Interstate 10 near Crenshaw Boulevard. The chase lasted about an hour as the suspect traveled through West Hollywood, the San Fernando Valley, and the Hollywood area. The pursuit ended when the suspect pulled into the parking structure of a U.S. Bank building near 5th and Grand Avenue, where law enforcement lost track of the vehicle and its driver. During the chase, the suspect reached speeds exceeding 100 mph on surface streets and 140 mph on the freeway, running red lights at multiple intersections. The suspect remains at large.
