Los Angeles, United States - May 20, 2026 05/19/2026 06:45 pm GMT-0700 SUNLAND, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Two firefighters suffered minor injuries after a fire truck overturned and landed on a sidewalk this evening, authorities said. The traffic collision occurred on the 8200 block of Foothill Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Images from the scene showed the fire engine on its side near an H&R Block building, partially resting on top of a crushed car. It is unclear if the building sustained significant damage. The crash took place while firefighters were responding to a structure fire, according to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene. The two injured firefighters were transported to a hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported, the department said.
