Azusa Avenue near the intersection of the 60 Freeway. The operation included multiple loud bangs and gunshots, which attracted a large crowd that gathered in the mall's parking lot to observe. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department set up a large area cordoned off with caution tape to assist with traffic and crowd control. The military concluded the training event just before 1 AM.
