US, Los Angeles: South Park Crowd Clashes with Officers During Gun Detainment.

Los Angeles, United States - August 12, 2026 08/11/2026 10:40 pm GMT-0700 SOUTH PARK, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles police attempted to detain a man with a gun at South Broadway and West 47th Street. A large crowd gathered and began fighting with officers in the area. Additional units responded to assist with crowd dispersal. Officers formed skirmish lines as some individuals continued to engage in confrontations. Several individuals were detained at the scene.
