MEDICAL REPORT OF IBRAHIM ABU SERAYAGAZA, PALESTINE - SEPT. 15, 2026: A 16-year-old Palestinian cerebral palsy patient in the Gaza Strip has seen his weight plummet to just 7.5 kilograms (16.5 pounds) due to severe malnutrition and critical prescription shortages caused by ongoing military operations and aid blockades, medical workers reported Saturday, Sept. 12. The teenager, Ibrahim Abu Seraya, was displaced from northern Gaza with his family and now resides in a temporary tent near the designated "Yellow Line" northeast of central Gaza's Nuseirat Refugee Camp. Because his neurological condition restricts him to ground soft foods, his mother, Nida Mohammed Abu Seraya, must travel long distances across damaged territory to secure suitable meals. Although Abu Seraya’s medical state was stable prior to the escalation of conflict, local health staff reported that acute shortages of specialized pharmaceuticals have left him in continuous physical distress. His condition requires immediate medical evacuation outside the Gaza Strip, as his mother, who developed partial paralysis under the physical and psychological strain, appeals to international humanitarian agencies for urgent medical passage. According to the latest figures from Gaza’s Health Ministry, Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement since October 2025 have killed 1,372 Palestinians and injured 4,659 others. ​​​​​​​Since Oct. 8, 2023, Israel has killed nearly 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 174,000 others in a genocidal war in Gaza, while destroying around 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure.
