VARIOUS OF BODY BEING TAKEN TO HOSPITAL MORGUEGAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JUNE 8: An eight-year-old Palestinian boy was among three people killed in an Israeli strike on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza on Monday, June 8. The victims and injured were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, where relatives gathered to mourn Jad Youssef Suleiman. Jad was killed while returning home from school. More than a dozen people, including children and a health worker, were injured in the strike. Relatives bid farewell to the child at the hospital, placing his school bag beside his body before it was transferred to the morgue. The strike targeted an area in the Jabalia refugee camp, killing three people and injuring several others, according to Palestinian sources. Israel has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians and injured over 173,000, most of them women and children, in a two-year genocidal war in Gaza since October 2023, according to Palestinian figures. Despite a ceasefire that took effect on Oct. 10, 2025, the Israeli army has killed at least 961 Palestinians and injured over 3,000 others in near-daily attacks, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
