VARIOUS OF FUNERAL PRAYERS BEING HELD FOR UBAIDA AL-SHEIKH EID KHAN YOUNIS, GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - SEPT. 9: A funeral was held in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip on Wednesday, Sep. 9, for a 10-year-old Palestinian boy, Ubaida al-Sheikh Eid, who was killed after Israeli soldiers opened fire in the Al-Mawasi area of the city. Ubaida's body was taken from Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis before relatives and loved ones gathered to bid him a final farewell. Funeral prayers were held for the child before his burial. Since the ceasefire took effect, Israeli forces have killed 1,334 Palestinians and wounded 4,429 others in violations, while rescue teams have recovered hundreds of bodies from beneath the rubble, according to Gaza's Health Ministry. The Israeli military has killed around 73,470 Palestinians and wounded 174,540 others in Gaza since October 2023, according to the latest figures from the ministry.
