Ariana Grande has slammed the White House for using her 2024 song ‘Bye” in a TikTok video showing ICE agents arresting and handcuffing immigrants. In response to the video, the singer commented on the post, “Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense.” In a statement to Variety, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson condemned Grande’s reaction to the post. Jackson stated that what’s “actually barbaric” are the “criminal illegal aliens who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens.” This isn’t the first time the ‘One Last Time’ singer has called out US President Donald Trump’s administration. In September 2025, Grande shared an Instagram post by activist Matt Bernstein criticizing the administration's ICE raids and anti-trans rhetoric This comes after Trump recently signed a bill into law approving more than $70 billion in funding for immigration agencies for the remainder of his presidential term.
