How to make Masala moong dal khichdi
Ingredients
• Rice - 3/4 cup
• Moong dal (split mung bean) - 1/2 cup
• Jeera (Cumin seed) powder - 1/2 tsp
• Dhania (Coriander seed) powder - 1/2 tsp
• Freshly grated coconut or kopra - 2 tbsp
• Salt 1 1/2 - tsp or according to taste.
• Jaggery or sugar - 1 tsp or according to taste
• Garam masala – ½ tsp
• Water – 3 to 4 cups according to the consistency you want.
Tempering ingredients
• Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
• Curry leaves - 10-15
