How to make bread upma – Bread bhaji
Bread Upma is fast and quick to prepare. Can be easily prepared by bachelors also. Instead of having it with bread or jam, this easy and quick recipe may be used. Good recipe for lunch box also, and Bread upma or Bread oggarane is also good for Breakfast and for evening snacks.
You may use fresh or leftover bread. You may add vegetables of your choice. You may use any kind of bread of your choice, whole wheat, multi grain, white bread, brown bread etc.
You may chop bread in uniform pieces or just tear it by hand or in a food processor.
---Ingredients for 2 persons:--------
Bread slices – 6-8
Onion, chopped – ½ cup
Tomato chopped – ¼ cup
Green chilli, paste or chopped – ¼ tsp or as per taste
Ginger paste or chopped – ¼ tsp
Salt ½ tsp. remember bread already contains some salt.
Sugar – 1 tsp (optional)
Curry leaves a few
Coriander leaves – chopped 1 tbsp
