Round of Applause for that voice of
0:01
power right there Heather be yes yes
0:04
come on we talked about it in the past
0:06
Tracy you made it very clear we got this
0:08
singer songwriter dancer actress model
0:11
producer thespian Renaissance person
0:14
Tracy you said we have a special bond
0:17
with her yes indeed so for those who did
0:20
not know DB shared that today is
0:23
National radio day and this multifaceted
0:26
artist that's joining us today made her
0:29
you us radio debut with us here on Sway
0:34
in the
0:34
Morning yeah many moons ago and I'm
0:38
talking about none other than FKA twig
0:43
hey welcome back such a delight such a
0:46
treat on National radio day right how
0:49
crazy is that D do you remember that
0:52
that moment that's very special
0:54
Milestone moment in your career that off
0:57
set off the trajectory that brought you
0:58
to this moment you're in now you
1:00
remember that uh do you know what I
1:02
don't
1:04
okay listen I remember I remember the
1:07
last time I came in before I don't
1:08
remember the first time don't remember
1:09
the first time was probably 10 years ago
1:11
now yeah easily yeah a decade for sure
1:14
yeah sway wasn't here that day he called
1:15
out and I called out I had work I had he
1:19
had work to do at MTV so it was just
1:21
Tracy and I and you yeah we had a great
1:23
conversation it was nice and we never
1:25
forgot it that's so sweet yeah I
1:27
remember last time I came um we had a
1:30
good time we had a always here yeah I I
1:33
likened your music to uh osmosis I
1:36
remember that it was a word I used
1:38
osmosis at the time because I I I
1:41
thought it brought us together or
1:43
something I said something I was off the
1:45
cuff but it was it was from the heart
1:48
that's nice yes absolutely welcome back
1:50
to the show thank you so much for having
1:51
me such good Vib absolutely you enhance
1:55
them too I was very impressed um when I
1:58
saw you speak to the US Senate Judiciary
2:00
Committee and that was the clip that we
2:03
started off with and that that happened
2:04
earlier in the year right um and you
2:07
spoke about your thoughts about AI yeah
2:11
and since then AI has evolved it's going
2:13
to consistently evolve it won't stop uh
2:16
can you explain your thoughts what how
2:17
do you feel about Ai and the usage of AI
2:20
as an
2:21
artist um I think that with all new and
2:24
emerging Technologies it's an amazing
2:26
tool for us to be able to express
2:28
ourselves and connect with each other
2:29
other and help aid in our lives but
2:31
these things they have to be monitored
2:33
and they have to be used in the right
2:34
way um I likened it to streaming the
2:38
other day I think that when people
2:40
started to illegally download music um
2:43
from the internet we didn't know the
2:44
effect that it would have on artists on
2:47
vinyl on quality of Music on um just the
2:50
general art of music and I think if we
2:53
knew then when streaming was invented we
2:56
might have put certain things in place
2:57
absolutely you know to make sure that
2:59
certain quality and and I guess like the
3:02
um the amazing culture that and art and
3:06
coming together that that music creates
3:09
we we would have thought about that in
3:10
the way that we created streaming and I
3:12
feel like we didn't and I feel like only
3:14
now even for me it's been probably 10
3:17
years of streaming I'm only just getting
3:18
to grips with it you know I'm definitely
3:20
more I feel an artist that um would have
3:25
responded to making music in like the
3:28
80s or the '90s or or on vinyl or you
3:31
know a World building um so yeah I I
3:36
just I just think now with AI if we
3:38
really think about it we have the
3:39
opportunity to put certain things in
3:42
place so that we can enjoy it rather
3:44
than um I always talk
3:47
about riding the dragon and like riding
3:52
it wait wait you said riding the dragon
3:54
riding the dragon but like at the front
3:56
of the Dragon with the RS so you know
3:59
where it's going rather than like at the
4:01
back of the tail holding on for dear
4:03
life you're simply a passenger yeah you
4:04
know like I don't want Society with AI
4:07
to be like holding on to the tail I want
4:09
us to be at the front and like telling
4:12
it where to go directing it were you
4:15
able to make or do you have any
4:17
suggestions of of any things that could
4:19
be implemented or you just want to start
4:21
the conversation were you able to give
4:23
them any yeah I mean I I I spoke about
4:26
it when I went to Congress but I think
4:27
it's basically about putting certain
4:30
rules in place to protect artists to
4:32
protect our identities um to monitor the
4:35
way that it's used uh all of the things
4:38
I spoke about in Congress right do you
4:39
feel like it also impacts the listeners
4:43
because we obviously know how it can you
4:46
know dilute the Artistic integrity of
4:49
you and your peers right but I also feel
4:52
like it impacts The Listener experience
4:55
too when I think about just your ability
4:58
to overon assume in a way when I think
5:01
about you know um our attention spans as
5:04
well we have so much access um how do
5:08
you feel about that in terms of AI
5:10
impacting The Listener experience the
5:12
audience experience um I mean I think my
5:16
main concern is just like the mental
5:17
health of young people I think we
5:19
already live in a world where with our
5:21
screens and online we're not sure what's
5:23
real or what's not um so to be able to
5:27
use people's likeness to sell things or
5:29
to say things or to sing things but it's
5:31
not actually them you know I'm more
5:33
concerned about like the mental health
5:35
of of young people and them knowing
5:38
what's true and what's not because even
5:39
as an adult I'm getting confused and I
5:41
don't remember feeling like this as a
5:43
teenager when I was a teenager I
5:45
remember feeling like I had a real grasp
5:47
on society and a real grasp on culture
5:49
and sometimes I wake up and I think what
5:50
is happening yeah you know and and I
5:53
find even my opinions of of things can
5:57
like change very quickly depending on
5:59
the way that my algorithm shifts or you
6:02
know one person sends you one thing and
6:04
all of a sudden your whole belief system
6:07
belief system is changed because your
6:08
whole algorithm has changed to something
6:09
else and it's confusing you know and I'm
6:11
an adult so I can't imagine what it
6:13
would be like to be raising like an 11y
6:15
old in this day and age it must be very
6:17
hard y FKA twigs is here come on we got
6:21
we Hey listen you know I mean we've been
6:24
doing this for a long time we got to
6:27
take a moment to shout out your team
6:29
because you look stunning to me today
6:30
this is whoever your team is who are
6:33
your team members like these people that
6:35
a
6:37
sh hair stylist made sure yeah
6:40
everything was in place thank you so
6:42
much I I feel really um like I'm around
6:44
a lot of people that love me
6:48
honest that's so important it is very
6:51
important we were talking about this
6:52
earlier today being around people
6:55
whether words are positive or negative
6:57
it can affect you it's which one
7:00
affects you more which one you choose to
7:01
believe the negative words or the
7:03
positive ones and so being around people
7:05
that love you constantly pour positivity
7:08
in you they should and it's a repes
7:11
representation of that today with your
7:13
team I we love the way we watch them
7:15
just gather around you and just make
7:17
sure you feel a million percent D you
7:20
emotional I was but it's true I mean
7:22
that's what we feel it's taken me a long
7:24
time but I think that I'm at a point
7:26
where I really believe that I deserve
7:28
that amen you deserve it you deserve it
7:31
you deserve it shout them out though oh
7:33
okay so we so shy um so you've got J and
7:37
Louie and
7:38
Tilda um and Liza and yeah it's it's
7:42
taken it's taken a while for me to find
7:45
my tribe you know I've always been such
7:47
a I've always felt like an outsider you
7:50
know at school and even in the industry
7:52
and it's it's taken me a long time but I
7:53
finally feel very grounded and very um
7:58
loved amen and and um like I have people
8:01
around me that really want me to do well
8:03
and believe in the vision you know
8:05
that's beautiful we need a group hug man
8:08
I don't know why you don't believe in us
8:11
oh
8:12
wow Dam s okay you coach let trick you
8:16
FK he down us every day we have to build
8:19
ourselves up here word Brick by Brick
8:22
not true I make I make people around me
8:24
tough that's all it's a brutal World out
8:26
want be S tough love is good right talk
8:29
right a little bit of tough love is good
8:31
not every day he takes your lunch you
8:34
know he buys cheap lunch some days he
8:36
hits us that that is that's not true
8:38
that's not true I I hit him on the text
8:41
on the text I don't I'm not I hit him on
8:44
the text play the [ __ ] song you know
8:46
I might do that you know what I mean all
8:48
right 15 minutes late I'm made them on a
8:50
text you know
8:52
that's that's but how would you describe
8:55
your style of leadership okay oh it's
8:58
not for me to say
9:00
you should
9:02
say
9:05
spiritual you mind being on camera
9:07
before you say this
9:11
God too late
9:15
now
9:17
come come get aew you'll get a front
9:20
view you look cute girl you got to love
9:23
it you look cute say say okay there you
9:26
go and it's ma mati no lies either I
9:29
would say it's kind of like um a
9:34
spiritual a mother kind of sh okay we're
9:38
all we're all very like friends and we
9:41
kind of just like work together and
9:42
we're like a yeah just like an energy
9:45
and uh it's really nice it's like a
9:47
collective yeah not a hierarchy yeah we
9:50
we just kind of like have fun yeah to we
9:53
really just like listen to music we kind
9:55
of it's really great yeah yeah they
9:58
looking at each like damn we got a good
10:01
life but you know here here they're
10:04
they're joking it's it's no real
10:05
hierarchy I mean
10:07
it's we're the same way because
10:10
collectively we're going to be able to
10:12
produce a better result than we could
10:14
individually yes and so you have a
10:17
beautiful Collective of individuals yes
10:19
um that seem to be working with you and
10:22
congratulations it's working it's
10:24
working and it's not and she you spoke
10:26
well that really nice to say really nice
10:28
to say hey um we're going to talk to
10:30
Crow um in a second uh but I'm just we
10:33
had another topic today we were speaking
10:35
about really taking a moment out and
10:37
treating yourself you know in the midst
10:40
of everything else we're working we got
10:43
people depend on us we got dependence we
10:45
got a whatever chaos in our life and a
10:48
lot of times we forget to take care and
10:50
treat ourselves you know and um I'm
10:52
curious to since the last time we've
10:54
seen you have you been able to treat
10:56
yourself to something nice um yeah I do
11:00
I mean I
11:01
think you mean
11:03
like would you buy yourself anything
11:06
nice nothing be like big on buying stuff
11:08
okay I think
11:10
um I treat myself by surrounding myself
11:13
with people that I love um I treat
11:17
myself by learning by not being hard on
11:21
myself I treat myself um by listening to
11:23
my body um watching the things that I
11:27
ingest whether it's social media food
11:31
words music um yeah I treat myself but
11:35
it's more like in a spiritual way I
11:38
don't really like I don't really care
11:41
about like things I actually like have
11:43
just got rid of nearly all my stuff like
11:45
furniture and or really like Furniture
11:48
but like clothes and just like you know
11:50
and really want less stuff because the
11:54
less things I have the more I can like
11:55
concentrate on myself and concentrate on
11:57
my family yeah um so yeah I do treat
12:00
myself but it's like work you know I
12:02
think for me treating myself is work
12:04
it's like constant every single day
12:06
reminder to be um to be my best self and
12:11
to support myself um cuz you just get
12:15
one life which obviously we always get
12:16
one life but know that you really like
12:18
this life like me as Talia this is it
12:22
you know like this is what I get so I
12:24
just want to be careful who I'm around
12:26
and I I treat myself with these
12:27
beautiful people I treat myself with
12:30
making all I believe in amen I want to
12:32
just hear her voice every morning when I
12:34
first wake up right let her do a drop
12:36
right now and to say you listen the
12:37
wayway in the morning we could play it
12:38
every day that's fact you do something
12:40
just talk to the people that's listening
12:42
yeah okay go ahead let's go what you
12:43
want to say like just like act like that
12:45
that you're in a it's a Arena full of
12:47
people we we have people who listen all
12:49
over the world five different continents
12:52
okay I'm not stunting
12:55
um and if you were able to address the
12:58
world in the morning at the same time
13:00
and imagine we're all in the same time
13:02
zone in the first voice that the
13:04
children of Africa or the adults of
13:07
Korea or wherever place in the world are
13:09
going to hear and you're going to start
13:11
our day off oh wow what would you say
13:14
Russia that's like this is like the most
13:16
pre
13:18
question 20 second Ted Talk just two
13:21
minutes straight I'm J no I'm joking I'm
13:24
joking
13:26
whatever whatever comes it could be 15
13:28
seconds doesn't matter I would say to
13:32
the people in the world to be your most
13:35
authentic self to stay present to live
13:39
your most authentic Human Experience To
13:44
Love Yourself to love those around you
13:46
um that it's okay to focus on the
13:49
immediate people around you to love and
13:52
support that you don't owe anybody
13:56
anything that you're enough to remember
13:59
to breathe to remember to go outside to
14:01
remember to walk in the grass drink lots
14:05
of water eat good food
14:08
um and just be
14:15
present s in the
14:18
morning
14:20
youting in the morning she say sway in
14:25
say s and to listen to Sway in the
14:27
Morning
14:29
sh you killed that make that up start
14:32
producing songs and putting that
14:34
on all right let's talk to Crow can we
14:37
talk to Crow talk to Crow talk to Crow
14:40
talk to
14:40
Crow um this is a movie uh that I
14:45
watched well the original version right
14:48
was with Brandon Lee yes right was a
14:50
movie I watched way back in 1994 because
14:54
I was a fan of Bruce Lee growing up as a
14:57
child and all the Lee Legacy and it it
14:59
was U obviously a tragic uh incident
15:03
that took place where he lost his life
15:05
right but uh the movie was still able to
15:07
come out were you aware of this when you
15:10
took the movie yeah oh you did okay all
15:12
right and um that didn't make you any
15:15
apprehensive or not what kind of
15:16
thoughts did they give you knowing that
15:18
or the movie The Crow it has a
15:22
very intense energy around it um
15:29
but with that comes a lot of reverence
15:31
you know it doesn't scare me
15:34
uh I I I I spoke about this in another
15:37
in another interview but I think that
15:39
like Darkness isn't always bad you know
15:42
like Darkness can be really beautiful
15:45
but it's just like the way that you
15:46
perceive it so I think I went into the
15:48
project with a lot of reverence um and a
15:52
feeling like instead of thinking okay
15:55
everything that happened to Brandon Lee
15:57
and even the story itself I mean the
15:59
writer of The Crow wrote The Crow
16:01
because he lost um his lover in a tragic
16:04
accident so it's surrounded in loss um
16:07
but I think that with my character
16:09
Shelly at least in this film there's
16:11
great gain in the first film there
16:14
wasn't um much of a role for the for the
16:18
female lead she was all like in uh
16:20
flashbacks and it was like this thing
16:22
that happened she didn't have a
16:23
character whereas in this Crow shell my
16:26
character she really has a personality
16:30
and
16:33
um Eric and Shell's love is grown and
16:37
and it blossoms and and it has a moment
16:40
it has a real moment on screen so I
16:43
think with so much loss that's happened
16:45
in the crow I think I tried to
16:47
concentrate on the gain and concentrate
16:49
what I could bring into the film with
16:51
like feminine energy and love and um
16:55
this feeling of Hope and this feeling of
16:57
togetherness and two Outsiders really
16:59
finding each other mhm um so yeah I I I
17:02
came in with that thought and also you
17:04
know when I met with Rupert the director
17:05
he said you have one job and it's that
17:08
to make the audience fall in love with
17:09
shell so much that when she leaves it's
17:12
like there's a whole punch in the movie
17:15
it's just like you've been like punched
17:16
in the in the stomach when when I die
17:19
and um and so that was my mission you
17:22
know yeah uh yeah I'm I'm thinking about
17:25
that that very beautifully said by the
17:27
way your voice is
17:32
that quote you uh you talked about an
17:34
interview when I think um I I read a
17:36
quote where you said the crow helped you
17:38
Embrace inner Darkness again after it
17:41
felt unsafe can you explain that um well
17:46
I think there's like it's no secret like
17:47
I've just gone through a lot the last
17:49
few years and um I think I'm naturally
17:52
somebody that I have like this kind of
17:56
um
17:59
like I can't explain it like I think a l
18:01
a lot of my Artistry comes from like
18:03
this real like gutural deep dark place
18:07
inside me but when you experienced so
18:10
much trauma for me at least I was like
18:12
like nothing nothing's dark everything's
18:14
fine you know and I just went into this
18:16
place where I was like everything's okay
18:18
like I have to be okay for everyone all
18:19
the time and I have to like heal in
18:21
front of the world and it's all going to
18:22
be perfect and I'm gonna like dye my
18:24
hair blonde and I'm gonna smile and I'm
18:25
gonna do like cutesy pictures and and
18:27
inside I just was like
18:29
and not you know and and at a certain
18:32
point I was like you know what like it's
18:35
I think it's okay to be Melancholy and
18:38
to um just sit in that it's okay to sit
18:41
in one's feelings it's okay to like not
18:43
be okay and just kind of observed that
18:46
and it's it felt at a certain point
18:48
after doing that that it was okay for me
18:49
to make art from that place as well and
18:52
I think that shell really helped me do
18:54
that because her story was so dark and
18:57
um you know in in in the sense that in
19:01
not that her story was dark that that
19:03
she you know she dies and so that was
19:05
like a scary role perhaps and she's was
19:08
kind of running from something in the
19:10
film and she was running from this
19:11
darkness and I was like wow like that's
19:14
like me as well but
19:15
ultimately the love resurrected her and
19:18
the love brought her back to life and I
19:20
was like well love can bring me back to
19:21
life as well and and so when I saw that
19:24
in Shell I realized that for myself wow
19:28
oh man okay
19:31
deep yeah yo you getting standing
19:33
ovations after answers right now put
19:36
your scuba suit on we going deep we
19:38
going deep um Can can I ask real quick
19:40
because um Sway and I were both talking
19:42
about the film and I was doing my
19:43
research and whatnot and you spoke about
19:44
how you didn't want to let the accident
19:46
that happened to Brandon Lee affect how
19:48
involved you were in doing this film now
19:50
um but of course we're still seeing
19:52
these accidents happened like on the set
19:53
of Russ just recently and so I just
19:55
wanted to know if maybe what was the can
19:57
you speak about what was the the safety
19:59
because it's hard to make a film about
20:01
the crow without guns and and shooting
20:03
and that sort of thing so what were
20:04
their safety like did they did everyone
20:06
on set try not to let it you know be a
20:08
dark cloud or did everybody really
20:10
attack it like let's make sure we're on
20:11
point everybody's going to double check
20:13
everything like what was it uh during
20:15
production um well I mean this was my
20:17
first lead role in a film so I'm like
20:19
new to working on a big set in this way
20:22
but we had an amazing stunts director
20:24
called Adam who for me was just like I
20:27
mean I have a fear water and I had to do
20:29
a lot of scenes in water and he was
20:33
amazing like there was so many safety
20:36
precautions like speaking about
20:38
everything all the time I was very clear
20:39
on everything that was happening and
20:41
you'll see even with me there's a a
20:42
couple of really um Dynamic and quite
20:46
horrific scenes but but I I felt very
20:49
safe and I felt like it was a real
20:51
family and and even in my water scene I
20:53
mean it I had to like Bill was amazing
20:57
like bill was like deep de diving Bill
20:59
scard yes bill was incredible like he
21:03
was like diving into this like um like
21:06
infinity pool and and doing all of the
21:08
stunts and he did like all the I I can't
21:10
do that I would like go into water and
21:14
be yeah but like every after every take
21:18
um Adam would swim out and like be with
21:20
me and like hold me and he'd be like
21:22
breathe it's okay and it's you know it's
21:24
funny when you have like a fear of
21:25
something it's like other people don't
21:27
really understand but in that moment
21:29
as he was in his scuba diving outfit
21:30
holding me up I was like I do feel
21:32
really protected and I do feel um safe
21:36
and I do feel uh you you know protected
21:40
and like the onset precautions were were
21:42
taken um but yeah it's it's it's really
21:46
tragic that these things do do happen on
21:49
set um and and I guess it is up to the
21:52
the production and the stunts team to to
21:54
kind of just be aware and and keep us
21:56
all safe but on this film we really did
21:58
you know a family we became a family
22:00
that's good to hear man FKA twigs is
22:03
here we're talking about the crow Tracy
22:04
G yes um I really appreciate seeing your
22:08
storytelling unfold in all of these
22:11
different mediums so let me say that on
22:13
the subject of Love um you know often
22:16
times you'll hear folks say before you
22:19
jump into a relationship you need to
22:21
know how to fully love yourself uh but I
22:25
feel like the film makes a case for how
22:29
how feeling the experience of being
22:32
deeply loved by someone else can teach
22:35
you to give yourself worthiness can
22:38
teach you to give yourself forgiveness
22:41
ultimately to give yourself healing do
22:43
you agree with that or do you feel like
22:45
you should be fully formed healed the
22:48
best you can be without blemish before
22:50
entering a
22:51
relationship um I mean I think the best
22:53
thing that I've learned over the past
22:55
few years is I
22:56
don't was that Tracy that's your
22:59
that's the ai ai ai on your back
23:04
now they saw what you
23:06
said it um I think that one thing I've
23:11
learned over the past few years is I I
23:14
don't know if like well I don't believe
23:16
that one can ever be fully formed or
23:17
fully healed and and I think that like
23:20
you just grow and you just change and
23:22
for me every single time I think okay
23:24
great I've put that issue to bed and
23:26
then it's like something else will kind
23:27
of you know start start bubbling up um
23:31
but I think that love in a healthy
23:33
relationship can offer like a really
23:35
beautiful mirror and and like the amican
23:39
well for me it can help
23:41
me look at myself and be become the best
23:44
me you know because relationships are
23:46
really like oh wow like you look at and
23:47
you think oh this feels good or this
23:49
doesn't feel good whether it's someone
23:51
else's Behavior even your own behavior
23:53
you know um so I don't think that anyone
23:56
has to be fully formed to get in a
23:57
relationship but but I but I think that
24:00
love can be an amazing place to grow and
24:03
to heal and to
24:05
um you know companionship is
24:08
amazing you know humans are people we
24:10
need to be with people touch is so
24:13
important um sensuality is so important
24:16
hugs are so important you know and and
24:19
that's the thing about Eric and shell
24:20
and that's the main takeout of the film
24:22
is that I'd love people to watch it and
24:24
know that everybody deserves that the
24:26
love that Eric and shell cultivate with
24:28
each other every single human should
24:30
feel that because it was very pure yes
24:32
it's a very pure
24:35
um experience to even act out you know
24:39
wow FKA twigs is here the C is out this
24:44
Friday yes sir roer
24:47
Sanders I read that with you and Bill
24:50
Skarsgard y'all didn't even do a a
24:53
chemistry test is this true it is true
24:56
yeah so he just the director just felt
24:59
that this was going to be this was going
25:01
to be this was going to work the
25:02
chemistry of you yeah wow um and it it
25:06
did work and I I don't know to this day
25:08
if ruper is a genius and he can just see
25:10
these things or or whether it was luck
25:13
but from the moment I met bill I
25:15
completely adored him and and he is like
25:17
just I just find him so funny he's just
25:19
so funny to me do you know what I mean
25:21
like he's very funny just with my sense
25:23
of humor um I saw him last night and I
25:26
was like my biggest like fear of doing
25:29
all of the promo is just he's I'm just
25:31
going to not be able to speak at all
25:33
because I'm just going to be laughing
25:34
the whole time um but yeah we we got
25:37
along very well and he's someone that's
25:39
very raw and very vulnerable and could
25:40
be very serious and he's very physical
25:43
you know Bill like with like it and NOS
25:44
Fatu like he has this like physicality
25:46
and I'm I'm a very physical person as
25:48
well so just like the way that he
25:50
conducts himself physically and his
25:51
everyday jokes I feel like you know like
25:54
a three-year-old like you know when your
25:55
parents are like doing something and
25:56
you're like it's like that for me um but
25:59
he's he's a sweetheart and we got on and
26:01
um I'm always I always look forward to
26:04
seeing him you know that's the best man
26:07
well I'm looking forward to people going
26:09
to see the movie The Crow right I got a
26:11
I got a a screener so I got it early
26:14
yeah show off Lion's gate what up Lion's
26:18
gate I do too I do too yo I had I have
26:22
to have to knowe because of how
26:24
spiritual you are FK um and this film
26:28
has to do with spirituality has to do
26:30
with the afterlife our
26:33
mortality how does your spirituality
26:36
shape your approach to this film and
26:38
more specifically what do you believe
26:41
personally happens after we leave this
26:43
human body oh wow that's two really big
26:46
questions about okay so what was the
26:47
first question how your relationship
26:50
with religion and or spirituality shapes
26:53
Your Role here and then what do you
26:55
think happens to us in the afterlife
26:58
[Music]
27:00
um I don't understand shapes my role in
27:02
the film how you approached shell in the
27:05
film oh well you know shell is a part of
27:08
me and that's what rert saw so I I think
27:10
that when I play a role it's like if if
27:13
shell is a percentage of me I just take
27:16
that part and I just spread it across
27:18
the whole screen you know so shell is me
27:20
every part I play I mean I'm currently
27:23
doing a film at the moment where I play
27:24
the Virgin Mary and so the Virgin Mary
27:27
is a part of me but it's just like a and
27:29
then I just spread it out until it fills
27:30
the whole cinema screen so Shell's the
27:32
same shell is me and and I just zoom her
27:35
out you know and until it's in until
27:39
it's like uh you know full she's full in
27:42
her entirety and then what do I believe
27:45
really like you want to get into what I
27:46
believe hell yeah okay um did you say
27:50
hell yeah hell okay attended right okay
27:53
all right I believe that humans are here
27:57
to learn lessons I believe that we have
28:00
multiple uh trials to win those lessons
28:04
and I think if we don't learn that
28:05
lesson in this lifetime we have to come
28:07
back and do it again
28:10
um and I believe that that scenario can
28:13
get better or worse so for me this
28:16
lifetime is really important for me to
28:18
learn my lessons because I get to make
28:20
music I get to make art I get to be
28:23
financially comfortable um I get to move
28:26
my body um I get to EXP express myself
28:28
so for me this lifetime is a great
28:32
opportunity to learn my lessons because
28:34
actually I was born in a country with
28:36
running water with government support
28:39
yeah you know I was born already in the
28:41
ba the the basis of just the area that I
28:45
was born into I was able to have a good
28:47
education um so all these things I'm
28:49
already so so lucky so for me this
28:52
lifetime is very important to learn the
28:54
lessons because then if I do hopefully I
28:56
can graduate and like move on and go
28:58
home wherever home is so um yeah that's
29:02
what I believe and and I believe
29:05
um I I believe that when you go home you
29:07
have like Soul groups so you leave the
29:10
planet and you and you go and you get to
29:11
be with like your soul family so I think
29:13
like loneliness for me is like never
29:15
really
29:17
um like I don't see loneliness of like
29:20
like oh I need a boyfriend or like oh
29:22
like I miss my friends sometimes when I
29:24
think of loneliness I think oh I like I
29:25
miss my soul group you know that that
29:28
I've met before but I can't remember
29:29
them like I'm like ready to kind of like
29:31
go home um so yeah that's that's what I
29:34
leave that's what I believe but I I
29:37
don't I don't know I just think we've
29:38
all just got to do our best you know and
29:40
just try and learn that's it amen love
29:42
it FKA twigs
29:45
yo bar
29:47
son it's a lot different from that first
29:50
interview it was
29:53
amazing this is amazing um
29:55
congratulations next I'll ask you about
29:58
music next time I like where this landed
30:01
you know I'm talk about music you do
30:04
yeah oh okay well what's up right where
30:06
we at with it where we at with it it's
30:08
coming very soon okay it's coming very
30:11
soon I have like a I love my Discord and
30:14

30:15

30:18

30:20
it if 10 is released and we all agreed
30:22

30:27

30:28

30:30

30:32

30:34

30:50
kind to other fandoms I'm like I see
30:52
them like going for other artists I'm
30:53
like stop it mhm I'm like stop it you
30:56
know it's very kind it's very um
30:59
wholesome we read books we do we do kind
31:02
of like music listenings we we talk
31:04
about life I folks often say that you
31:07

31:10
know if you guys have met I feel like
31:11
you probably have had but is that
31:13
somebody that you would also work with
31:15
collaborate with um if it felt natural I
31:19
don't know I feel like I feel like we're
31:22
quite different I feel like we're both
31:23
just
31:25
lightskinn enough said FKA TW man hey
