US, Phoenix: Phoenix 1st Alarm Commercial Structure Fire.

Phoenix, United States - July 05, 2026 07/05/2026 02:30 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a commercial structure fire near 35th Avenue and McDowell Road. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire billowing from a medium-size single-story commercial structure. The assignment was upgraded to a first alarm fire, drawing several additional resources to the scene. Crews made entry into the structure for fire attack while ladder crews made their way to the roof for vertical ventilation. An effective knockdown was achieved following an aggressive initial fire attack. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
