US, Phoenix: Glendale 1st Alarm House Fire With Injuries.

Phoenix, United States - May 18, 2026 05/18/2026 01:18 am GMT-0700 GLENDALE, Ariz. – Firefighters from the cities of Glendale and Phoenix responded to reports of a house fire near the 4500 block of West Myrtle Avenue. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames billowing from a single-story residence. A first alarm assignment was requested due to the severity of the blaze, drawing additional fire crews to the scene. According to a Glendale Fire Department captain at the scene, three people were injured in the blaze. One person was transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation by Maricopa Ambulance crews; two others were treated at the scene and refused transport to the hospital. Glendale Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
