The handwritten names covered the “Gaza Children’s Shroud,” which was unveiled at the Church Center for the United Nations. Organized by Doctors Against Genocide, Priests Against Genocide USA, Justice for All, and partner groups, the initiative aims to commemorate the deceased children individually by name rather than as casualty statistics. The traveling installation was launched in Philadelphia earlier this month and is scheduled to be displayed in Washington, D.C., in October.
