NAMES OF SLAIN PALESTINIAN CHILDREN ON SHROUDPHILADELPHIA, UNITED STATES - SEPTEMBER 02: A giant shroud bearing the handwritten names of more than 20,000 children killed in Gaza was displayed in Philadelphia in the US state of Pennsylvania. The shroud, approximately 110 meters long, was presented as part of “The Shroud of Gaza’s Children” project. During the event, participants added the names of children killed in Gaza to the shroud by hand. An interfaith memorial vigil was also held in the evening with the participation of Christian, Muslim and other faith leaders. The event aimed to commemorate children killed in Gaza and draw attention to the humanitarian toll of the conflict. As of Sunday, the number of Palestinians killed by Israel in the Gaza Strip since October 2023 had reached about 73,454, with 174,486 others injured, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.
