PALESTINIAN PEOPLE WAITING OUTSIDE HOSPITAL (2 SHOTS)KHAN YOUNIS, GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - MAY 25: A Palestinian girl was killed and several others were injured after an Israeli strike hit a tent area in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza on Monday, May 25. The strike came despite an ongoing ceasefire in Gaza. Footage from the scene showed the girl’s father inside an ambulance holding his daughter’s body bag in his arms and crying following the attack. Additional footage showed wounded Palestinians arriving for treatment and being transferred into ambulances as rescue efforts continued in the area. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 883 people have been killed and 2,648 others injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire was announced. The agreement was meant to halt Israel’s two-year war that killed more than 72,000 people, most of them women and children, injured over 172,000 since October 2023, and caused massive destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure.
