US, Los Angeles: Westwood Man Rescued From Storm Drain.

Los Angeles, United States - October 12, 2026 10/11/2026 11:21 pm GMT-0700 WESTWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A 40-year-old man became stuck on a ladder inside a storm drain on the 1200 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard. Initial attempts to remove the grate were unsuccessful, leading to a heavy rescue team being dispatched to the scene. Despite the challenges, rescue crews eventually managed to remove the grate, allowing the man to climb out on his own. The man was reported to be uninjured at the time of the rescue. He was subsequently loaded onto a gurney and taken to an ambulance but declined medical attention.
