Los Angeles, United States - May 31, 2026 05/30/2026 10:57 PM GMT-0700 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Two men were shot outside a party at a Santa Clarita city-owned event venue overnight, prompting a large law enforcement response and leaving one victim unconscious and unresponsive. The shooting was reported at approximately 10:57 PM outside The Centre, an event facility located within the City of Santa Clarita Sports Complex. First responders arrived to find two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to area trauma centers. One of the victims required continuous CPR and was transported with paramedics utilizing a LUCAS mechanical chest compression device. Investigators recovered dozens of shell casings near where the victims were found, indicating a significant exchange of gunfire may have occurred. The scene remained active and secured well into the early morning hours. As of 12:30 AM, portions of the area remained locked down, with numerous party attendees and potential witnesses being held inside the venue while investigators processed the scene and conducted interviews. Authorities have not released information regarding a suspect or motive. The conditions of the victims after being transported have not been officially disclosed.
