US, Los Angeles: Van Nuys Metrolink Train Delayed After Fatal Inciden.

Los Angeles, United States - May 01, 2026 05/01/2026 07:06 am GMT-0700 VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – An eastbound Metrolink Ventura County Line train, designated as No. 104, was delayed after striking a person this morning near the 16000 block of Roscoe Boulevard. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities reported that the person is not believed to be unhoused. Passengers were instructed to remain on board as the train continued to Van Nuys Station, where they were safely offloaded under the direction of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
