Thirty people were injured, two seriously, when the train derailed on Aug. 13 while travelling between Haywards Heath and Lewes with around 150 people on board. Three carriages derailed and slid part-way down an embankment, according to Network Rail and Southern Rail. Police declared a major incident following the derailment as a number of passengers were trapped inside the train. Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
