Los Angeles, United States - August 20, 2026 08/20/2026 01:00 am GMT-0700 SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A traffic collision occurred this morning in the southbound lanes of the I-405 freeway near the Getty Center exit. The California Highway Patrol received reports of the incident shortly after it happened. Officers arrived on the scene and confirmed that at least one vehicle was involved in the collision, with another vehicle present on the roadway. Initial reports indicated that a vehicle had struck a deer. Responding units were working to remove the deer from the roadway. No injuries were reported.
