US, Los Angeles: Santa Clarita Truck Slams Into Bus Injuring Passengers and Trapping Driver With Sound On Tape.

Los Angeles, United States - September 27, 2026 09/27/2026 02:56 am GMT-0700 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Three passengers were reportedly injured and a driver trapped after a truck slammed into a city bus early Sunday morning in Santa Clarita. The crash occurred near Lyons Avenue and Railroad shortly before 3 a.m. when a truck slammed into the side of a city bus in the intersection. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies and Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene, where they located the reportedly trapped driver. Fire Department personnel worked quickly to extricate the driver from the truck. According to additional reports, three passengers on the bus were also injured in the crash. At least one person was transported to the hospital. Several passengers were displaced from travel as a result of the incident. One passenger described the event as shocking and told us about what he felt as the incident unfolded.
