US, Los Angeles: Pomona Man Shot Riding Scooter.

Los Angeles, United States - September 04, 2026 09/04/2026 12:42 am GMT-0700 POMONA, Calif. – Pomona police and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to reports of a gunshot victim riding a scooter at the intersection of South Garey Avenue and West Mission Boulevard. A male victim was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The shooting occurred at Fernleaf Avenue and Garey Avenue. The victim managed to ride his scooter to a safe location on North Garey Avenue at West Mission Boulevard, where he called 911 for assistance. Police discovered multiple shell casings on Fernleaf Avenue just west of Garey Avenue. Authorities indicated there were two different scenes involved in the incident, both related to the shooting. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear.
