Los Angeles, United States - May 24, 2026 05/23/2026 06:36 pm GMT-0700 POMONA, Calif. – Firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, along with the Chino Valley Fire Department, are battling a large pallet fire this evening at a location in the 1400 block of East Ninth Street in Pomona. The firefighters are currently working in a defensive mode to contain the blaze. Multiple businesses in the vicinity have been evacuated as a precaution. The Pomona Police Department has closed off several streets around the area to ensure public safety. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
